Welcome to our blog!!!

Welcome welcome! One and all!!
Well, it looks like we have finally joined the techies in getting our own blog! Yay for newsletters without the printing and postage!

ASHTON-ISMS

It's so fun to see into the mind of a child just by the things they say:

The other day, we were 'skype-ing' with my dad and Lynda and Ashton said, "Break the computer and go in there?" He also said that about the television when watching "Little Einsteins"! He really wanted to go and see Rocket!

We were inside playing and Brigham was just chattering away and he turned to him and said, " Quiet Brigham! You'll wake up the sharks!!!" HA HA! He and Brent have pretended there were sharks (nice ones) in our house since I can remember. Just one of those fun make believe consistencies. We also have friends named Saurus, Bug, and Disaur. Saurus is our grocery shopping buddy. He usually shows up at Fred Meyer and comes home with us! ;)

Lately Ashton is really paranoid about us leaving him- no matter where we are:
After putting him in the car: "Get in the car, Mom?"
After putting him in the bath: "Stay 'ith me in here, Mom?"
After putting him to bed: "Crack da door, Mom?" or "Da door open a widdle bit/ tiny crack"
When going to someone's house: "You stay 'ith me, Mom??"

Quite a while ago, Ashton thought there was "poop" on someone's roof down the street... (huge clumps of moss) Now he just thinks its grass growing on the roof. "What dat up dare, Mom? Grass?"

Ashton always wants to know what everything is "called"...
"What's dat called?" or "What's dat guy's name?" which is particularly funny when it isn't a guy- or even a person! :)

Brent was home for a nap the other day b/c he was sick. Ashton made sure he knew what he thought about that:
"Dad? You not study in the bedroom, you need to study at school biwding!"

After dropping Brent off at school the following week:
"Daddy, go and study in the window! There toys in it."
Me: "There aren't toys in there Ashton, just lots of books"
"Yes! There is! Lots of 'um. That's amazing" Ha ha!
